Frost Chapter 9I was lying in the room, breathing in and out. With each inhale the ice melted, and with each exhale the whole room froze back over. I was getting a lot better at controlling my powers. I could probably even break out if I wanted to. I did, but I just got this feeling that I didn't have to. Loki hadn't talked to me in about two days, he was obviously focussing on something so I didn't bother him. I had not talked or eaten in two days, and I could hear someone coming down the hall. My senses had been slowly improving along with my powers.
I heard the little slot in the door open, and pushed in was my food tray. It bumped into the other uneaten trays as it entered. Loki had told me about his brother about three days ago, and he was the one who had been delivering my food for the past three days. He was very insistent on trying to get me to eat.
"I'm not eating it, Thor." I sighed, the room freezing over.
"I didn't say you had to." he replied, somewhat irked.
"Then stop giving me food. Al
Frost Chapter 8I pushed him away as quickly as he had kissed me. The dream shattered like I had slammed my fists into a mirror. I started falling through the blackness with the shards of my dream, when I woke up again.
I was still there in that tiny little metal cell. Alone. On the floor. I looked around to see that the entire room, from ceiling to floor was coded with a thin layer of ice. I looked at the jumpsuit I was wearing was completely frozen. I must have broken whatever mechanism it was that made the suit get warm. People had only ever told me this before but now I kind of thought it fit.
I was a cold-hearted bitch. Literally.
I closed my eyes and the ice around my suit shattered, allowing me to stand up. I looked around, and spoke out, "Whoever you people are, I know you're watching me! How cold is it in here?" There was no response. I looked around the room again.
It was small. A little to small for my comfort. I sat down in the middle of the room and kept looking around. Maybe I really was
Frost Chapter 7"I'm not anyone's property." I said.
"Not anymore, but you were once S.H.I.E.L.D. property." the man in the trench coat said. The muscular man looked incredibly confused.
"I don't know what S.H.I.E.L.D. is or even who you people are. How about you tell me who you are before telling me that you own me." I sounded angry, and I felt the suit get hot as quick as my heartbeat sped up. I gasped and fell to the floor. I looked up to the trench coat man fearfully, "How are you doing this?"
"The suit you are wearing get's hotter if your heart rate reaches a certain point, it's the only way to keep you under control." he said. How did he know that I was so sensitive to heat?
He motioned to the other man who left the room before he did. The man adjusted his eye patch and said one last thing before exiting, "We will try to get information out of you once you've calmed down."
I sat up against the wall and took in many deep breathes, trying to slow down my heart rate. I heard Loki's voice again.
